1kg Mix will approximately fill 8 inch (25.32cm) x 3 inch (7.62cm) round cake tin or 24 to 30 regular cupcakes.
- Place 1.00kg Bakels Choc Sponge mix, 0.400kg of egg and 0.420kg of water into a mixing bowl.
- Whisk together on low speed. Scrape down.
- Whisk on top speed for 6-8 minutes. Then on second speed for 2 minutes.
- For Sponge Rounds (18cm) scale 230 grams sponge batter. Oven temperature 190°C. For Swiss Rolls scale 1.000 to 1.200 kg sponge batter in standard baking tray. Oven temperature 220°C. For Slabs scale half 1500g in standard coffin trays. Full 3000g in standard coffin trays. Oven temperature 210°C–220°C.
