Refund policy

Returns

Our return policy is valid for 6 days from the date of purchase. If more than 6 days have passed, we regret that we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.

  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Non-Returnable Items: Certain items cannot be returned due to health and safety regulations, including:

  • Perishable goods (cake mixes, icings, fondants, buttercreams, frozen products)

  • Gift cards

 

Out-of-Stock Items

We cannot guarantee the availability of all products. If an item in your order is out of stock:

  • Our team will contact you to discuss available alternatives.

  • If we cannot reach you, a refund will be issued for the out-of-stock items.

  • Sale items that are out of stock will be fully refunded. However, we cannot apply sale prices to backorders.

Cancellations

We understand that plans can change; however, cancellations may incur a fee to cover administrative time, labour, and non-refundable merchant charges.

  1. General Cancellations - A 10% non-refundable fee will be deducted from the total order value.

  2. Edible Images & Custom Orders - Non-refundable once the order has been placed due to the personalized nature of these products.

  3. Inflated Balloons - Non-refundable once inflated, as materials and labor have already been used.

Helium Balloons

To process replacements or refunds for helium balloons:

  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

  • The damaged balloon must be returned to our store.

  • If a balloon is damaged, it is usually due to an issue with the self-sealing valve rather than a manufacturing defect.

  • Balloons that pop or develop punctures cannot be refunded or replaced.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of approval or rejection via email. If approved, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within a certain number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds If you haven’t received a refund:

  1. Check your bank account.

  2. Contact your credit card company, as processing times may vary.

  3. Contact your bank.

  4. If you still have not received your refund, email us at partymixclarkson@hotmail.com.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, email partymixclarkson@hotmail.com and send your item to: Party Mix, 2/75 Ocean Keys Boulevard, Perth WA 6065, Australia

Gifts

  • If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the return value.

  • If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.

  • If you receive a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted.

COVID-19 Policy

In the event of government lockdowns or restrictions due to COVID-19, we offer an 8-month store credit for orders canceled within 48 hours of the original pickup time.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations within this 48-hour window.

  • Orders canceled more than 48 hours before pickup may be eligible for a full refund, depending on the products ordered.
